Covid-19 Heroes: Those who made a difference for Penang

Dr. Teoh Wei Kium, a Penang artist, has come forward to donate 50 of her artworks as a tribute to 50 selected recipients, namely those who have contributed to the Penang community during the Covid-19 pandemic. Nominations for selected recipients are not only limited to medical staff but also open to any individuals or organisations directly who has made an impact in Penang during this pandemic.
Apart from that, individuals and organisations which are based outside Penang but have contributed to the State in preventing the spread of this pandemic and contributed to people in Penang at this time can also be nominated.
The nominations received will be evaluated by the panel based on the description and information regarding the candidate (not exceeding 200 words) filled in the nomination form below about their contribution.
The nominations can be written in any language (Bahasa Malaysia, English, Chinese or Tamil). The award ceremony and an exhibition of Dr. Teoh’s artworks and the Covid-19 Heroes will be held at the Penang State Art Gallery in January 2021.
