Tourplus Technology and Tourism Selangor, the State of Selangor’s official Tourism Promotion Agency, have both agreed to assist tourism-based business owners by activating a mobile application for business digitization.

The agreement, in the form of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), validates the mutual confirmation of the partnership of a 2-year white label project between the parties, focusing on the development of the tourism sector in Malaysia as part of the recovery plans.

A virtual signing ceremony will be held on ZOOM and Facebook Live concurrently on 3rd August 2021 (Tuesday) at 3pm. Everyone is welcome to join the live session and witness the signature between the two representatives from each organization- Mr. Azrul Shah Mohamad, the General Manager of Tourism Selangor, and Mr. Rickson Goh, the CEO of Tourplus Technology.

The initiative is expected to provide services to more than 100 thousand merchants through the “Go Selangor” app powered by Tourplus that targets to be available online in October 2021 in conjunction with the government recovery plan.

To sustain the business span, many local SMEs are encouraged to converse their business online through the process of digitalization. Tourplus is gratified to be part of this contribution as well.

The soon-to-be-launched “Go Selangor” app will offer services such as airport transfers, hotel rooms, day tour packages, ticketing, and attraction recommendations to users. For more information about the ceremony of its program schedule, you may visit the Go Selangor Webpage.
