10. Mount Chamah

Mount Chamah is the fifth highest peak in Peninsular Malaysia, located in Kelantan’s northwestern corner. Its highest point is 2171 metres.

Mount Gayong, at 2,173 metres, is the Malay Peninsula’s fourth highest peak. It is a popular mountain climbing location.

8. Mount Yong Belar

Mount Yong Belar is a mountain in Malaysia’s Titiwangsa Mountain that lies on the border of the states of Kelantan and Perak. It has a summit elevation of 2,180 meters above sea level.

7. Mount Korbu

Mount Korbu, at 2,183 metres, is Peninsular Malaysia’s second highest peak. It is the highest point in the Titiwangsa Mountains, which are located in the Tenasserim Hills’ southernmost region.

Mount Tahan, at 2,187 metres, is Peninsular Malaysia’s highest point. It is situated in the state of Pahang, within the Taman Negara national forest.

Mount Mulu is made up of sandstone and shale. It is the second highest mountain in Sarawak, after Mount Murud, at 2376 metres.

Gunung Kinabalu in Sabah is the country’s highest peak, standing at 4087 meters. Mount (“Gunung” means “mount” or “mountain” in Malay) Kinabalu is a World Heritage Site that also has some rare orchids and montane plants not present in other parts of the region.
