Chin Swee Caves Temple is a Taoist temple located in Genting Highlands on a 28-acre stretch of rocky forest ground, where locals come for religious rites and to enjoy the peaceful ambience. It was built in memory of Reverend Master Chin Swee, a Buddhist monk from Fujian Province known for his ability to conjure rain and ward off bad spirits.

The iconic 20-foot overhanging balcony of the Sungei Palas Tea Centre, which also serves as a viewing deck, is a sight to see while enjoying a cup of tea.

Taman Negara is a big national park on the Malay peninsula in Malaysia. It is home to a vast tropical rainforest estimated to be 130 million years old. The major access point, Kuala Tahan, serves as a base for surrounding canopy walkways, river cruises, and jungle climbs to the summit of Mt. Tahan. Tigers, macaques, and birds, as well as the massive blooms of the rafflesia plant, call the park home.

Mossy forest is a type of natural habitat found exclusively at the highest elevations of the Cameron Highlands and other Malaysian mountain ranges. Low-level clouds in the sky, driven by winds, bathe the forests in a continual mist and dampness, producing a perfect biotope for moss, ferns, lichen, and orchids at such altitudes.

One of the eight MARDI Agricultural Research and Innovation Centres is Agrotechnology Park. In keeping with the station’s theme, ‘Centre for Sustainable Highland Agriculture,’ its research activities are primarily focused on highlands agriculture. The English Garden, Herb Garden, Orchid Garden, Rose Garden, research centre, and information centre are the six primary sections. Tourists may also buy gifts at the information centre.

Cactus Point is one of Cameron Highlands’ oldest flower nurseries, stocking and selling a wide range of cacti as well as native and exotic plants, some of which are adaptable to lowland circumstances and others which are entirely highland in character. Orchids, ferns, pitcher plants, Tillandsia (air plants), Venus fly traps, Geraniums, and baby cactus are also popular flora items.
