Kedah is a Malaysian state that borders Thailand and includes the Langkawi archipelago. The SkyCab cable vehicle on Langkawi Island travels through the jungle to reach the pinnacle of Mount Machinchang. The SkyBridge pedestrian bridge follows the contours of the environment here. The Telaga Tujuh waterfall has seven pools nearby. Eagle Square’s star-shaped jetty at Kuah, the island’s major ferry port, is dominated by an eagle statue.

Alor Setar Tower (Malay: Menara Alor Setar) is a telecommunication tower that stands 165.5 metres (543 feet) tall.
